POTSDAM -- Juanita’s First Thursday Creations will be held June 4 from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m.at the Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St. This month will feature Mediterranean baked bulgur.
This vegetarian dish is flavored with fresh dill, feta cheese, tomatoes, and broccoli.
Bulgur is a whole grain cereal made from the groats of several different wheat species.
Common in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes, bulgur is used in pilafs, soups, bakery items, and other recipes.
After sampling, join Shopping with Rosie between 4:30 and 5 p.m. for a personalized tour of the Co-op to you can see how the bulk bins work, or find out how to order through the Buying Club for more discounts. Visit the bakery and chat with staff.
