POTSDAM -- A chiropractic office in Potsdam that opened this spring has been put on hold, according to owners Dr. Lisa Francy Towle and Dr. Jamie Towle.

Towle Chiropractic Health Center is located at 29 Main St.

A statement from the couple said:

"Dr. Jamie's patients missed his care so much, that they sought out a beautiful office space for him in Malone. It initially was only going to be open one day a week, and he has such a huge following in Malone he quickly began having a high demand to work in Malone three days a week. He is working at 151 Finney Blvd. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; with a long line of patients waiting for his care every day he is there. Due to a big increase in need, our Canton office at 16 Park Street is open Monday through Friday, with Dr. Lisa there Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and Dr. Jamie in Canton on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have our Potsdam location on hold at this time. Our Potsdam patients are being cared for in our Malone or Canton locations. We are still accepting new patients at both locations at this time."

Shortly after they opened their Potsdam office, Jamie's mother was diagnosed with a serious health condition.

"One additional benefit of his return to Malone Monday, Wednesday and Friday is that it allows him to spend quality time with his mother and father," Lisa said.
