POTSDAM -- As Potsdam Summer Festival planning goes into full gear, the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for its Craft Show and The Madstop Market.
This year’s show will be held from 9 am- 5 pm on Saturday July 14.
“The Craft Show in Ives Park has been a consistent and highly attended part of Summer Festival since the first festival 45 years ago,” said Executive Director Marylee Ballou,
“The show has always showcased the wonderful handmade work of local and regional crafters and artisans.”
The newly named “Madstop Market,” a combination of flea market, direct sales consultants, antiques, and people with a spot for their garage sale items, is to be at Pine Street Arena from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14. This venue has been anchored by the Orchestra of Northern New York Junque Sale the last two years.
“The chamber hopes to have more vendors at this location this year. The reuse, repurpose, recycle, and second hand market has grown in recent years. We also want to offer a location for those independent direct sales consultants to display their products,” said Ballou.
To register for the craft show or the Madstop Market, contact the Potsdam Chamber at 274-9000 or potsdam@slic.com.
Deadline to register is June 12. Limited number of spaces in both locations.
