OGDENSBURG -- The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #2 Ogdensburg will recruit for five bricklayer, mason, and plasterer apprentices through May 27, 2016.

Applications are available at the St. Lawrence Career Center, 80 State Highway 310, Suite 8, Canton Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period.

Completed applications should be sent to Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers LU #2, 312 Pratt Street, Watertown, NY 13601. All applications must be received no later than June 5, 2016.

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old.

• Have a high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma (such as TASC or GED).

• Be physically able to lift 50 to 100 lbs.

• Have reliable transportation to and from job sites and related instruction classes.

• Have a valid driver’s license in order to operate company vehicles.

• Reside for at least six months prior to application in St. Lawrence, Jefferson or Lewis counties, except for the Lewis County townships of Constableville, Port Leyden, Lyons Falls, Turin, and Redfield.

• If applicable, provide military transfer card or discharge form DD-214 after selection and prior to indenture.
