OGDENSBURG -- Admission to the Elsa M. Luksich Municipal Pool will be free this summer, according to the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.
Originally, pool admission fees were slated to double to $1 per child and $2 per adult, prompting outcry from some.
But now, there will be no admission at all because Ogdensburg Pepsi Cola Bottlers made a donation to cover the admission fees as part of marking their 75th anniversary.

The pool opens June 17, from 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
