OGDENSBURG – The new Oriental Kitchen will open Monday in the former Sholette's Steak House location.
Lina Zheng, who formerly ran the A1 Buffet in Ogdensburg, said customers can expect something different.
“We have a new chef. We have new management and we have a new menu,” she said.
She said there will be a wider range of dishes and the food will be prepared with different recipes.
Zheng, who has been in the restaurant business for 22 years in St. Lawrence County, founded Chinese restaurants in Canton, Gouverneur, Potsdam, Massena and Ogdensburg.
“We work hard to support our families and try our best to serve our customers,” she said.
The restaurant will feature buffet-style serving as well as take out orders.
Zheng said she is excited about the store opening and hopes residents throughout the county will stop in and try the new menu.
“Our new chef is the best around,” she said.
The Oriental Kitchen will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday. To place an order call 393-9300.
