OGDENSBURG - Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center has added board certified hospitalist Dr. Rashmi Thatte to its staff.
Dr. Thatte comes to CHMC from Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Milton, MA where she was a member of Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians since 2012. Dr. Thatte earned her medical doctor degree at K.J. Somalia Medical College and Research Center in Mumbai through an affiliation with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India, and completed her residency in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center through Drexel University College of Medicine in Darby, PA.
“I believe in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to all my patients," Thatte said. "Having been a part of the Harvard Medical Faculty based in the community hospital setting, I have an extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide variety of medical cases. I plan to use this experience to serve the local community by providing high quality personalized care.“
