OGDENSBURG -- Northern New York Community Foundation recently donated $25,000 to support the expansion of the Richard E. Winter Cancer Treatment Center at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center.
This gift helped to push CHMC Foundation over their goal of $1.5 million for this project. This donation was awarded through the NNYCF grant program and will allow CHMC to continue providing cancer care in the North Country.
The expansion project added a new wing to the Cancer Center that now houses a new Varian Trilogy Linear Accelerator.
