OGDENSBURG -- Denise Barse has been appointed to serve on the Ogdensburg Boys & Girls Club Board.
Barse will work with other board members to advance the Boys & Girls Club mission and maintain programs that help Ogdensburg youth reach their fullest potential. She will sit on the finance and expo committees, which help plan the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year.
“We are excited to have Denise join us on the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors as she has been a long-time supporter of the club and her three nephews and niece have been members for many years,” said Tom Luckie, Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Executive Director. “She will bring a wide range of experience to our board, especially in financial dealings and help to impact the lives of the many youth we serve.”
A branch manager, Barse has been with Community Bank for more than eight years and in the banking industry for 36 years. Outside of the office, she also volunteers with the Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival as co-treasurer and with Sunny Side Cemetery Association of Morristown as secretary and treasurer.
Barse received her associate of applied science from SUNY Canton. She resides in Morristown with her husband, Frederick.
