The New York Power Authority will hire a firm to develop a digital marketing program and website in an effort to attract businesses and industry to St. Lawrence County in the North Country.
The funding complements NYPA economic development initiatives in the North Country that have supported nearly 9,700 jobs and $522 million in capital investments throughout the region, a release form the authority says.
The Power Authority released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to generate quality business development leads for St. Lawrence County. The RFP calls for a combination of ongoing lead generation through a sustained digital marketing program and the development of a best-in-class website. Ongoing maintenance and content development is also required.
Responses to the RFP are due by the end of September, at which point NYPA, will review the proposals and select a firm for an anticipated project launch by early November.
The RFP was noticed in the New York State Contract Reporter and can be viewed at: http://www.nypa.gov/Procurement/Default.aspx (registration required).
