CANTON -- Members of the Howlett family gathered recently with Dr. and Mrs. G. Michael Maresca and staff of the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Imaging Dept., to dedicate one of the Hospital’s Nuclear Medicine rooms in memory of Billy Howlett.

Howlett passed away several years ago from complications related to juvenile diabetes. Billy’s father, William Howlett, is employed at CPH as a Nuclear Medicine Technician. His mother, Stacey Howlett, is a Hospital Foundation Board member, and his grandfather, the late E. Stanley Howlett, was long-time Chair of the Hospital Board of Directors.

The Marescas have been leaders in providing support to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Foundation, and on several occasions in recent years, Dr. and Mrs. Maresca have used their philanthropy to honor the memory of those whose lives have touched theirs, and to acknowledge the good work performed at the Hospital by physicians and staff.

The Hospital Foundation exists to raise and manage funds for the sole benefit of patients served by Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
