POTSDAM -- A public meeting of the North Country Regional Economic Development Council (NCREDC) will be held Friday, May 19, at 1 p.m. at the Clarkson University Student Center’s multipurpose rooms on the second floor at 8 Clarkson Ave.
A consolidated funding application (CFA) workshop will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the unversity’s Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP) in rooms 175-177.
All individuals, businesses, organizations, labor and education representatives from the North Country region are welcome to attend.
The NCREDC is co-chaired by Garry Douglas, North Country Chamber of Commerce president, and Tony Collins, Clarkson University president. The region is composed of Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties.
The co-chairs will deliver the first of seven public outreach forums during the meeting, discussing the council’s strategies for 2017.
The council and staff from the State Agency Resource Team will host the CFA workshop for potential applicants to learn more about Round VII of the REDC initiative.
