POTSDAM -- North Country Oil Change and Repair was recognized by the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce as the 2016 Business of the Year at its annual spring lunch on Thursday, May 12.
The event was at the Potsdam Town & Country Club.
Also recognized were member businesses celebrating milestone anniversaries: 5 years - Nikki Coates & Associates, Maple Run Emporium, Downtown Sports & Toys, Paula Youmell-Wise Woman Nurse; 10 years - 1844 House, and Celebration Sensation Wholesale; 20 years - Ostranders Bed & Breakfast; 25 years - Brooks Washburn Architects PC, St. Lawrence B&B; 30 years- Bronson Service Corporation; and 200 years - SUNY Potsdam.
SUNY Potsdam President Kristin Esterberg and undergraduate student Katrina Rink presented some historical highlights within the colleges 200 years.
