POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting for new chamber member business, 4F Running at 75 Market St., at the corner of Sandstone Drive, on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m.
The grand opening for the store will be held Sept. 8 and 9 during their open hours.
There will be light refreshments, door prizes, and one runner will win their choice of shoes.
4F Running is a veteran-owned and family-owned business. Artie and Renee Ford opened the store because they wanted a place to try on and buy new running shoes in the North Country. They knew that if they wanted it, other runners would too, and the idea was born, said a press release from the chamber.
4F Running will have shoes from the top running brands, including Brooks, New Balance, and Hoka One One. They have a treadmill in store so you can try before you buy. And they have a 30-day return policy.
The store is also starting a weekly run club on Saturday mornings and Monday evenings.
