GOUVERNEUR -- Dunkin’ Donuts, the coffee and baked goods restaurant chain, today announced it will celebrate the grand opening of a new restaurant at 8 Rock Island St. on Monday, Dec. 10, said a press release from the company.

The new restaurant will be located at the site formerly occupied by Greg’s Restaurant, which was razed to make way for the new construction.

To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will offer a variety of giveaways, special offers on beverages and donuts, and other deals throughout the day.

The restaurant will be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week, and will employ approximately 20 crew members.

The Gouverneur location will feature comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and USB charging ports, along with sustainable features and practices including energy-efficient LED light fixtures. The new location also features a drive-thru for guests.

The new restaurant will serve a complete menu featuring hot and iced coffees, cold brew, as well as espresso, cappuccino, lattes, macchiato, hot and iced teas, hot chocolates and frozen beverages; donuts, bakery goods and sandwiches, the press release said.
