MORRISTOWN -- A Morristown artist will celebrate the grand opening of her new retail space Sept. 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. at 200 Gouverneur Street.
Debra Monteith is a local artist with Canadian roots who creates jewelry. Coming from a long line of artists she is dedicating her gallery and shop to her father, who was a Cabinet maker from Canada.
Montieth creates and sells necklaces, earrings, wraps and more. Examples of her work can be seen at debramontieth.com
She has also created a jewelry line called “shadows.” Montieth will donate $1 to the NYSARC Dodge Pond camp for children with challenges for every piece she sells.
