POTSDAM -- Dr. Alisa G. Woods is now available as a mental health counselor, with an office at 6604 NY State Highway 56.
She offers individual counseling for adults and adolescents and accepts several types of insurance. She works with clients on addressing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem issues, general life confusion, inattention, social skills training, and relationship issues.

Woods has taught classes in psychology and neuroscience at Clarkson University, SUNY Plattsburgh, and UMass Boston and is a Research Associate Professor at Clarkson University.
She is licensed as a mental health counselor in New York state and holds a PhD in neurobiology and behavior.
