MASSENA -- The Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce is taking nominations for two awards for community members that demonstrate exceptional service to the Massena area.
The two awards are the “Gert Jurkovich- Commitment to the Community Award” and the “Business Leadership Award.”
Nomination deadline is Friday, March 27th, 2015.
The Jurkovich award recognizes a person, business, or group that best exemplified Gert Jurkovich’s dedication and zeal for the community that she worked so hard to promote, according to the chamber.
The business award recognizes not only a person who runs a successful business, but someone who shows exceptional service to the community, respect for employees, and dedication to customer service, the chamber said.
All nominees must be members of the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce.
Nominations must include the mame of the award, the nominee, a business name (if applicable) and why they deserve the award.
