MASSENA – Through a partnership with the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce, 20 seats for chamber members have been reserved at Clarkson University’s Reh Center for Entrepreneurship “My Small Business 101” classes starting Sunday, Oct. 9.
The course, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 9, 16, 30, and Nov. 6, at Clarkson, are taught by Marc Compeau, director of the Reh Center. Topics covered will include thinking strategically, resource management, marketing management and financial management.
"The Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce is very pleased to offer these classes to its membership as a member benefit," said Michael Gleason, executive director of chamber. "We are constantly looking to enhance the value of membership in the Greater Massena Chamber and the topics taught by Marc Compeau from the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University add to that value."
Registration is required and will be offered on a first-come first-served basis to small businesses. There is no cost to attend.
