MADRID -- Michelle Hollister was recently promoted to branch manager at the Community Bank N.A. Madrid location.

In her new position, Hollister is responsible for “overseeing the daily operation of the office, managing security, lending and teller responsibilities,” according to a press release.

She will also work to establish growth in sales and make sure the office adheres to policies, the release said.

“We are thrilled that Michelle accepted this important position for our institution,” Community Bank N.A. Regional Manager Rita Walldroff said. “She has been a part of our Community Bank N.A. team for a long time, and we are proud to be able to recognize her hard work and dedication to the bank over the years.”

Hollister brings to the position nearly 20 years of experience in the banking industry, joining the bank in 1998 as a teller.

Since then, she has served in a variety of positions, including customer service representative, backup head teller, branch assistant and retail service officer, the release said.

Outside of the office Hollister is involved in her community, serving as a banker for Ogdensburg’s Relay for Life and assistant secretary for the Seaway Festival, and volunteering regularly with the Boys and Girls Club exposition.

She resides in Madrid with her spouse, Ronald.
