POTSDAM -- Big Lots will have a grand opening of its newly remodeled store in Potsdam on Friday, Oct. 26.
This store will “reflect a new format,” said a press release from the company.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m.
The first 50 people entering the store on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 will receive a reusable shopping bag filled with treats from Big Lots.
In addition, the company will kick off a donation program benefiting St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House.
Big Lots will donate $5 to the local charitable organization each time a "BIG Rewards" loyalty member redeems a reward at the Potsdam store over a six-week period (Oct. 26-Dec. 8).
Big Lots will host local figures, representatives from St. Lawrence Valley Renewal House and other community guests at the ribbon cutting.
