NORWOOD — Laurie’s Casual Cuts, located on Main Street, is now under new ownership.
Laurie Fefee has sold the business to her niece Trish Fefee.
“To all my Laurie's Casual Cuts clients, friends, family: I have some news that transpired quickly so I apologize for not contacting everyone individually,” Laurie said in an email.
“Most of you know about my current medical issues and recent surgery with slower than expected recovery,” she said. “I cannot thank everyone enough for your support. Those who made meals, sent cards, flowers, messages, FaceTime sessions, and or visited me. It is all so much appreciated, and I have not ever felt so loved in my whole life.
Trish Fefee, who has been styling hair for many years, is now the owner. “I am super excited for her to start her new journey /dream and hope she creates another 24 plus years the same way I have with all of you,” Laurie said.
Jody Swartfigure and Sarah Burnham will continue to work at the shop.
“I cannot thank them enough for their dedication and the privilege I've had to have them working by my side. They have taken care of the business flawlessly, and for that I am forever grateful,” Laurie said. “They will always be family.”
Laurie wished to thank everyone for their years of loyalty to the salon.
“I will cherish every memory made. I've been truly blessed. Much love to all.
