NorthCountryNow.com stopped working for about half an hour shortly before 7:30 a.m. today amid heavy traffic from viewers checking on school delays and cancellations.
Server settings were changed to accommodate the thousands of viewers visiting the site at the same time and NorthCountryNow.com returned live just before 8 a.m.
While the site was down, a cached version of NCNow appeared on many devices, but since it was not a live site, links did not work.
North Country Now regrets the failure. We are working to make changes so that heavy traffic does not shut down the site again.
