Hammond Farmers' and Artisans' Market opens for its fifth season June 22; new vendors welcome

HAMMOND -- The Hammond Farmers' and Artisans' Market will open Wednesday, June 22, for its fifth season, and is looking for new vendors to expand its offerings.

The market will again be located on the front lawn of the Hammond Museum, Route 37, and will be open every Wednesday from 3-6 p.m. through Sept. 20.

Since its initial year, the market has continued to increase the number and variety of vendors each season. Last year there were produce vendors, as well as artisans selling a variety of wares including honey, handmade cards, soap, paintings, jewelry, pottery and crafts.

The market is looking for new vendors, particularly those with produce and fall veggies and fruits. The fee for vendors remains the same as last year at $25 for the season.

As an incentive, any vendor who brings in a new vendor will have the fee reduced to $20.

If you or anyone you know is interested in joining the market as a vendor, email hamfaam@yahoo.com, or call Lori at 315-324-5032.

You can also message the Hammond Farmers' and Artisans' Market on their Facebook page.
