OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for Citizen of the Year, with the award to be presented at their annual dinner on Nov. 14 at the Gran-View Restaurant. Nominations must be received by Oct. 10.
The award has been given since 1984.
The Chamber is also accepting nominations for the Business Improvement Award recipient. They are looking for a business that has had a positive impact on the community and its appearance by renovating and revitalizing an existing building or area into a thriving business enterprise in which the community can be proud.
The Chamber is also accepting nominations for the Outstanding Community Service Award Recipient. Traditionally, this award goes to a person or group who has made a substantial contribution of their time, work and philosophies into a project or program for which the entire community benefits.
