The burger joint will have a soft opening on Sunday, Sept. 16 and then a grand opening with Potsdam Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Monday.
Five Guys, "Handcrafted Burgers and Fries since 1986," offers six kinds of hamburgers and cheeseburgers, three kinds of hot dogs and a few meat-free sandwiches, and French fries, “Five Guys style” and Cajun style, milk shakes and sodas.
Work on the restaurant, on the site of a former Stewart’s Shop, has been underway for most of the summer and is nearing completion.
