Recruitment for foster care parents Aug. 22 at St. Lawrence Centre

MASSENA –St. Lawrence County Youth Advocate Program representatives will be recruiting for foster care parents at the “Community Saturdays Booth” at the St. Lawrence Centre Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
St. Lawrence Centre, NYS Hwy. 37, is proud of its long-standing position as a community gathering place and supporter of area non-profit organizations. The “Community Saturdays” program provides non-profit organizations with an opportunity to hold awareness activities and volunteer opportunities free of charge. As media sponsor of the “Community Saturdays” program, NorthCountryNow.com each week posts which non-profit organization is scheduled to be at the booth.
The “Community Saturdays” booth is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is located at the east end of the mall’s food court.
