CANTON -- Canton Free Library is the recipient of a $1,500 grant from the Corning Incorporated Foundation.
Funds will be used to support the innovative programming and growing e-media services available at the library.
The award was recommended by the local Corning Plant managed by Peter J. Aagaard.
The CFL staff and board of trustees expressed gratitude for the gift and said they appreciate the continued interest in and support for the community library by a major local business.
