CANTON -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County plans two pullorum testing clinics for 4-H members and others who may be interested in showing poultry at local fairs or other local shows in the next 60 days.
All poultry fair entries must have a pullorum-free certificate or test or proof of one.
The first clinic is from 9 a.m. to noon June 14 in the small classroom in at the barn at Cooperative Extension’s farm at 2043 SH 68.
The second clinic from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 at the FFA Building at the Gouverneur Fair Grounds, E. Barney St., Gouverneur.
Mary Stepanian from the state Department of Agriculture and Markets will administer the tests.
