POTSDAM – Some Clarkson University start-up companies will be meeting with business CEOs for a “speed-dating” event, not for romance but for advice and inspiration.
Clarkson University’s Shipley Center for Innovation and Reh Center for Entrepreneurship will bring together some start-up businesses with established business people for this “start-up speed-dating” event.
Six CEOs from Alliance of CEOs Group 310 in California will be at Clarkson University’s Peyton Hall Business Incubator Friday for the presentations by people with ideas and plans looking for advice.
Twelve Clarkson start-ups will present to two groups of three CEO's, spending the first three minutes on general company information and the one biggest problem the start-ups are facing.
The start-ups will then have seven minutes each with a CEO group to discuss and brainstorm the issues together.
The objective is for the start-ups to walk away with new ideas on how to move forward.
