POTSDAM -- The United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship has named Clarkson University the “National Model Undergraduate Program in Entrepreneurship Education” for 2015.
The entrepreneurship education honors are awarded to schools that have developed and offer entrepreneurship programs. The judging committee consisted of a panel of experts who represent top entrepreneurship programs from around the world.
The National Model Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program award is given based on innovation, quality, comprehensiveness, sustainability, transferability, depth of support and impact, Clarkson said.
Clarkson is accepting applications for its 2015 Young Innovators and Entrepreneurs Competition until Friday, Jan. 30, at clarkson.edu/equity. The competition allows up to five young entrepreneurs or innovators to have an opportunity to attend Clarkson through a combination of merit-based financial aid (after accounting for other aid for which the student may be eligible) and the school getting an ownership interest in their business ventures in lieu of tuition payments.
