CANTON – Winterfest 2011 is set for Feb. 10 to 19, and the Chamber of Commerce will kick of the week and a half of events with its annual Celebration Dinner at St. Lawrence University’s Eben Holden Feb. 10.
Display areas for members will be allotted first-come, first-served.
Displays will open and cocktails will be available starting at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., and the program begins at 7:30.
The buffet features prime rib, chicken breast, lasagna, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, tossed salad, assorted cheesecakes, and coffee and tea.
A cash bar and auction will be available on the main dining floor. The silent auction will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. If you would like to donate an item for the auction, call Kathy Flanagan at 386-8680 or the chamber office at 386-8255.
Advertising space in the dinner program is available, at $100 for a 4-by-5 ½-inch ad. For that, or to arrange dinner display space, call the chamber at 386-8255 by Jan. 21.
Cost of dinner is $35 per person. Reservations for dinner are required by Feb. 4; call 386-8255.
The chamber also wants to remind people that Winterfest button sales support several local service organizations, and purchasers become eligible for prizes.
