CANTON -- The Canton Chamber of Commerce annual dinner will kick off the Winterfest celebration on Thursday, Feb. 4, at Eben Holden Dining Hall at St. Lawrence University.
A social hour starts at 6 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. A program will be offered at 7:30 p.m. with silent auctions at 6 and 7:30 p.m.
The chamber will honor Jeff Proulx, owner of Save-A-Lot, with its Chamber Member of the Year award. The chamber will present their Recognition Award to the Church and Community Program.
The auctions include items donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals and proceeds support the chamber.
The chamber is accepting ideas for chamber members for additional avenues to spend the money that will benefit all chamber members. Chamber members willing to donate something toward the auction are asked to donate them at 386-8255.
The buffet includes, steak, chicken, lasagna, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, dessert and beverages for $38 per person.
Parking is in the lot next to Park Street and a van will transport attendees to Eben Holden Dining Hal.
