OGDENSBURG -- A statement from Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority Executive Director Wade Davis says the airport is "continuing to break records" as 2018 draws to an end.
He says the airport saw 45,500 passengers during the year, beating last year’s total of 44,962.
Since the 2016 expansion the airport has had 110,000 passengers.
“Another record breaking year for OGS! The airport is really ‘taking off’ now and I see blue skies ahead." OGS International Airport Manager Stephanie J. Saracco said in a preapred statement. "It’s a wonderful holiday season with the terminal hopping with activity, over 600 passengers through the airport each day on several days this season so far, I anticipate more days like this in the near future."
"At Ogdensburg International Airport we are all about the passenger’s experience and top-notch personal service” Davis said in a prepared statement. “We are extremely grateful for the thousands upon thousands of new U.S. and Canadian passengers now utilizing Ogdensburg International Airport as this directly benefits the economy of the region.”
