Once precipitation clears later this morning, a couple of days with dry and warm weather are expected across the St. Lawrence Valley, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Highs today will be around 70 with mostly sunny skies, the service says. Overnight the low will be around 43.
Rain chances will return by Wednesday, along with a trend towards cooler temperatures struggling to rise above 60 over the weekend.
Friday appears most likely to be the wettest day, NWS says.

Sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming northwest around 6 mph in the morning.
Tuesday Night
A 50 percent chance of showers after 11pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 47. East wind 3 to 5 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday
Showers, mainly before 5pm. High near 60. Northeast wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
