BRASHER FALLS – The Badenhausen Public Library, 897 Main St., will accept hardcover and paperback books for recycling May 2-4 during regular library hours. The library is open on Thursday, May 2 from 3:30 to 7 p.m.; Friday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.s Books for recycling should be brought in boxes or bags. No loose books will be accepted. North Country Library System will pick up the books collected for recycling on Wednesday, May 8 and will transport them to the book recycling center in Watertown.
Those bringing books are encouraged to separate out any they feel may be suitable for the Friends group used book sale. Books donated for the sale should be no more than 10 years old and in good condition. Textbooks and encyclopedias cannot be accepted for the book sale but can be recycled.
