Ad Sales Consultant

In this role, you will work with local and regional organizations to create print and digital marketing campaigns that help grow their business or achieve their goals. North Country This Week / NorthCountryNow.com is the #1 news and information source for St. Lawrence County, reaching about 80% of households. We are an independently owned company with a fast-moving work atmosphere, and flexible work hours to accommodate family needs. If you are looking for a place to put down roots and grow your career, this position may be for you. This is a full-time position based in our Potsdam office and requires that you have reliable transportation for travel in various parts of St. Lawrence County. You must be comfortable meeting clients in person and giving sales presentations as well as communicating by email and phone. Basic computer and math skills are a must. Sales or fund-raising experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
• Develops positive relationships with current and potential clients
• An entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think creatively
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Time management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong new business development skills preferred
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated
We offer great benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with company match, and family-friendly, flexible work hours.
